Welcome to May's crown wigs, an online shop that specializes in the sale of high-quality hair wigs. 

These general terms and conditions act as a contract between May’s boutique SRL (as the seller) and everyone that visits the site and decides to make a purchase (as the “buyer”).  

This site is owned and operated by May’s boutique SRL. By placing an online order on www.mayscrownwigs.com, you declare that you have read and  understood the terms and conditions herein presented and that you agree to them. 

We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time. Your continued use of our website and services following any changes to these terms and conditions will indicate your acceptance of the new terms.

 
 

Products 

We sell human hair wigs. We try our best to present the products on the website as accurately as possible: pictures and a description (size, type of hair, length, color, etc.). Please read the full description of the product and don’t hesitate to contact us at mayscrownwigs@gmail.com for any questions you may have.  

Pictures taken in natural and/or studio light are meant to show the color as close to reality as possible. Bear in mind that actual color may vary due to different monitor settings. We cannot be held responsible for differences in colors. 

Our items are custom colored using professional hair dye products. It is normal to see color in the water when washing. And like in any normal hair the color will fade / oxidize over time. These are not faults. Human hair items need color maintenance over time.

Price 

Our prices are in euro and don't include taxes.

For clients from EU a 19% VAT will be added at checkout. Also the shipping cost is not included and will be calculated at checkout. 

​For Romanian customers! If you would like to place an order please contact me at mayscrownwigs@gmail.com. Since Romanian law does not allow transactions in euros on Romanian territory, orders cannot be placed on the website.

For clients outside of the European Union: Orders outside of the EU may be subject to additional taxes and custom fees imposed by your country's legislation. It is the buyer’s responsibility to inform themselves about possible taxes that may apply when buying from a country within the European Union. Any taxes and custom fees that may apply when the package arrives at the destination country are not collected by May's crown wigs and do not fall under the seller's responsibility. May's crown wigs is not responsible for refunding them in case you decide to return the item.

Payment method 

Payment can be made by credit / debit card through Stripe payments or with Paypal. You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, etc., as well as any other payment options Stripe allows in your country.

Delivery 

We ship worldwide via DHL Express. The shipping cost is not included in the item’s price and will be shown at checkout. Shipping costs and times will vary depending on the destination of your package.  You can see more information in the shipping policy page. 

After the package is sent to the delivery company, it is not under our responsibility anymore.  

The shipping time is an approximation and depends on the delivery company. We are not responsible for the time of delivery and any delays that may occur during this time.  

If the package is lost during delivery, the client must take this issue up with the delivery company.  

We will offer full support to our clients in any matter related to shipping.

Return policy 

We wish to offer you the hair of your dreams, but in case that doesn’t happen you have 4 days to return it, starting with the day of receiving the delivery. Please contact us at mayscrownwigs@gmail.com to inform us about your intention to return the item so we can assist you with that.  

Wigs must be returned in their original packaging and in their original state without any alteration. The buyer is responsible for covering the return fees. It is the buyers’ s responsibility to make sure the package arrives safely when returning the wig for a refund. May’s boutique it is not responsible for the items lost in the returning process, on the way back to them.  

When we receive it, we’ll inform you by e-mail. Please allow us 1-2 working days to inspect the item and let you know if we accept the return.  

If the return is accepted, the client will be issued a refund in 1-3 working days, minus the 10% restocking fee. The original shipping cost is non-refundable. The restocking fee covers the washing and restyling of the wig. The wig comes in direct contact with the scalp and hair when you try it on, so it needs to be sanitized before being sent to another client. 

In case the wig presents any signs of wear or alteration it will be sent back to the client on their expense.   

What are the signs of alteration? 

• Cutting the lace or the hair 

• Changing the part 

• Shampooing or applying any products on the hair 

• Styling or using any kind of hot tool on the hair 

• Applying makeup 

• Removing comb or clips. 

 
 

Exchange and withdrawal right 

If you are not happy with your purchase, you have the option to return it or to exchange it with another wig. For returning, please check our returning policy above. In case you want to exchange it with another wig, please return the wig to us unaltered and in its original packaging. The return will be on the client’s expense. Once we have inspected and accepted the return, we can discuss the exchange. We will offer you store credit.

Guarantee 

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and proceed accordingly. 

In the event of a fault, please inform May's crown wigs at mayscrownwigs@gmail.com. We will shortly advise you as to what the best course of action is in your situation. 

In the case of a manufacturing defect, we will try to repair the wig. In case this is not possible, you will be issued a refund. 

If the defect is caused by customer use, we offer the paid option of repairing the wig, if possible. All costs will be covered by the customer. 

 

 

Privacy  

We respect your privacy and we do not share, sell, or rent your data with third parties. The only data that we collect is the necessary data for processing your order (name, address, email, and phone number).  

We only send your data to the courier company so they can keep you updated on the status of your order and for delivery purposes.
